Guzhang enterprises appear at 29th Shenzhen Tea Fair

The 2024 Global Tea Fair China (Shenzhen) Spring as well as the 4th World Green Tea Conference was held in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province from June 20 to 23. Guzhang County of Xiangxi Prefecture showcased the unique charm of Guzhang tea to tea lovers in the GBA and even globally.

Through tea fairs, Guzhang County has actively developed the new tea beverage industrial chain, and organized and participated in multiple tea events, to further expand and cultivate the new consumption market of Guzhang tea. About 1,500 brand tea companies and over 20 government exhibition groups participated in the fair, showcasing over 200,000 tea products from the whole tea industrial chain.

7 leading enterprises gathered at the Guzhang exhibition area, showcasing the traditional advantages of Guzhang Maojian Tea and Guzhang Black Tea, and bringing a series of innovative products, including organic tea, healthy tea drinks, etc., to meet the needs of different consumers.

Guzhang tea companies represented by Niujiaoshan Tea, Zhengshantang Guzhang Black Tea and Sandaohe Tea showcased their new and unique products, attracting the attention of many visitors.

Guzhang County also participated in the 4th World Green Tea Conference as the guest of honor, and displayed Guzhang elements according to the agenda of the conference.
  With the new tea drink ecological chain as the core content, a tea industry event that promotes the accurate docking of production and marketing, leads the development trend of the industry, and stimulates the vitality of economic innovation was held. Teng Zhaohui, secretary of the county Party committee, introduced Guzhang’s tea product characteristics, tea culture and history, as well as the development achievements of the tea industry to the guests.

Song Xiaobo, deputy county magistrate, said that Guzhang County has focused on the integrated development of tea and tourism to help tea farmers increase income and become rich. As of May this year, the total tea production in the county had reached 3,623 tons, and the total tea output value had hit 1.529 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2% and 10.5% respectively compared to last year. The tea industry has become a powerful lever for promoting rural revitalization in Guzhang County.

A seminar on the new tea beverage ecological chain was also held. Zhang Guozheng, deputy head of the county, led tea enterprises to cooperate with tea beverage brands and supply chain enterprises, so as to achieve a win-win situation between tea beverage brands and supply chain enterprises.

Guzhang County also held a tea tasting event to discuss cooperation and business opportunities with guests from the tea industry in Shenzhen.

Through face-to-face communication, the Shenzhen tea industry further deepened understanding of the Guzhang tea industry, and established a communication and docking platform between the Guzhang tea industry and the GBA market.
